The single-industry Towns direction is one of the main priorities of the strategic development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025. At the federal level, the task has been set to make single–industry towns territories of opportunity. Each single-industry town should have its own development program developed and implemented.
The urban-type settlement of Krasny Yar was included in the list of 319 single-industry towns in Russia. Today, more than 5 thousand inhabitants live on its territory, the village has a well-developed infrastructure: there is a comprehensive school, 2 kindergartens, an art school, a polyclinic, a children's entertainment center with a day group for preschool children, social, communal and gas services.
The main tasks of the established management team are to develop a program for the development of a single-industry town, monitor the progress of its implementation, coordinate measures to support a single-industry town, and support investment projects.
The governing council includes the line manager of the Fund for the Development of Single-industry Towns, representatives of regional ministries, the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, the administration of the Lyubinsky district, the Lyubinsky CRH, and the city-forming enterprise Lyubinsky Dairy and Canning Plant.
