At least 19 Omsk enterprises will be involved in the work of the Siberian Industrial Consortium.

The day before, the Ministry of Industry of the Omsk region held an organizational meeting on the creation of the Siberian Industrial Consortium of connecting parts and fittings of pipelines.

"The production of pipeline products is one of the locomotives of Omsk civil engineering, especially for small and medium-sized businesses. The creation of the Siberian Consortium will allow enterprises to join forces to participate in tender procedures, thereby increasing the volume of products, creating new, including import-substituting types of products," said Viktor Belov, head of the Omsk Region Ministry of Industry.

Currently, 19 enterprises have confirmed their participation in the work of the consortium, among them CJSC Sibgazstroydetal Plant, JSC Omsktransmash, LLC NPP Special Technologies, JSC Omsk Research Institute. Any specialized enterprise can join the consortium by contacting the Ministry of Industry of the Omsk Region or NP Siberian Engineering. Omsk enterprises are already producing almost the entire range of pipeline parts and fittings, including main pipelines, for oil and gas production, petrochemistry, energy, construction industry, housing and communal services and other industries, taking into account import substitution and nordifferentiation. The volume of output in 2015 amounted to more than 4.5 billion rubles.

The systematic cooperation of the Omsk Region's industrial complex with major customers covers about 15 companies, including major industrial giants Gazprom PJSC, Gazprom Neft PJSC, MMC Norilsk Nickel PJSC, Transneft PJSC and others.

In addition, a coordinator (specialized organization) of NP Siberian Engineering was elected at the meeting and a board of directors consisting of 9 people from among the heads and responsible representatives of enterprises was elected. Agreements with the first participants of the consortium will be signed by the end of the year.

Next year, the consortium members will carry out serious work with major regional and corporate customers, including within the framework of the agreement with the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the roadmap with Gazprom PJSC, and SIBUR Holding PJSC.

A special focus of the consortium's work will be participation in the forum on infrastructure development of the Arctic territories, which will be held in November 2017, where enterprises will sign agreements and contracts with customers.
