As part of the federal project "Russia is My History", the Omsk region will have its own historical park.
This was announced today by Governor Viktor Nazarov at a press conference for federal and regional media.
The historical park is planned to be located in the building of the exhibition pavilion of the regional Expocenter. Such centers for the study of national history should appear in all major cities of the country. As part of the development of the federal project "Russia is My History", a historical park will appear on the territory of the country in the Omsk region. The Omsk Region government is going to implement this project jointly with Gazprom. The Omsk Museum of Local Lore has been identified as the operator of the project.
"We are entering into a project to create an interactive platform with our exhibition center, Gazprom is allocating 120 million rubles for the equipment and equipping of the military historical museum. This is an important project for us. We must fill in the gaps among young people in their understanding of Russian history. Polls show that not all university students can answer the question of who Lenin is. No matter how we treat this or that historical character, we must understand that this is our story. We must immerse young people in the study of Russian history so that they understand what Russia is," said Governor Viktor Nazarov.
It should be noted that a year ago, the first unique multimedia platform within the framework of the historical project "Russia is My Story" appeared on a permanent basis at the VDNH pavilion in Moscow. During the year, about half a million people visited the multimedia historical project, which indicates the genuine interest of Russians in the history of the fatherland.
In Omsk, the historical park is planned to be located in the building of the exhibition pavilion of the regional Expocenter on an area of 7.6 thousand square meters. meters. A project team has been created to prepare the regional content of the exhibition.
