In 2017, the Cordiant company continues to implement an investment program for the technical re-equipment of the production of passenger tires at the Omsk plant of JSC Cordiant-Vostok. More than 1.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the modernization and updating of equipment. In accordance with the assortment policy of the parent company, the purchase of high-tech equipment, modernization and unification of existing equipment will be carried out.
The project work plan is designed until 2021 and is divided into stages, each of which involves serious financial investments. Thus, the first stage of modernization, planned for the current year, will cost the company 250 million rubles. These funds will be used to purchase modern automatic hydraulic presses, which will be installed instead of the existing vulcanizer formers. The new hydraulic presses will significantly reduce the use of manual labor, reduce downtime and improve product quality.
In the future, it is planned to purchase new assembly and vulcanization equipment, upgrade existing assembly lines and hydraulic presses. There is a large amount of work to be done in organizing the updated tire quality inspection site and replacing the procurement equipment also included in the overall project plan.
A favorable investment climate is being formed in the region, which contributes to the modernization of tire production. The Governor of the Omsk Region, Viktor Nazarov, signed a cooperation agreement with the management of the Cordiant holding company, providing for the development of production and the creation of new jobs. The tax incentives provided by the regional government have made JSC Cordiant-Vostok an attractive platform for the implementation of a series of investment projects. Last year, as part of the investment program, new Czech equipment was installed, which produced more than a million particularly durable blanks for passenger cars and light trucks.
"The preferences not only accelerated the development of tire production, but also had a positive impact on tax deductions. Thanks to the sustainable development of the enterprise, the amount of taxes paid to budgets of all levels increased by 2 times in 2015. At the same time, contributions to the regional budget increased by almost 10%. In 2016, the trend towards increasing tax payments continued: over the year, the total amount of taxes paid increased by 8%, while taxes to the consolidated budget of the Omsk region increased by 17%," comments Larisa Grishina, General Director of JSC Cordiant-Vostok.
The modern European equipment operating at the enterprise provides additional training and support for new employees. Additional vacancies have been opened at JSC Cordiant-Vostok today. In addition to experienced specialists, university graduates are also invited to work. A productive training and mentoring system, formed on the production site, allows you to adapt and master new equipment in the shortest possible time. During the training, the employee receives a fee, as well as the constant support of a mentor. After employment, there is an opportunity to continue developing their skills, which opens up opportunities for further career growth.
