Webinar "Passing the assessment according to the Standard of public capital of business"

Yesterday, Svetlana Bazhenova, General Director of the Omsk Region Agency for Development and Investment, took part in the webinar "Assessment according to the Standard of public capital of business."

The experts of the NGO "Public Capital" told us what the Standard of Public Capital of business is and how it can be useful to the company and employees, what advantages the assessment of the Standard of Public Capital of business provides, how to speed up the collection of information, as well as what ratings and data are already included in the assessment.

The Omsk Region is one of 17 regions that have become pilot regions for the implementation of the Public Capital Standard.  These regions will be the first to apply in their territories a tool for assessing and encouraging the contribution of business to the implementation of national development goals. In September of this year, the Regional Agency for Development and Investment received the status of an ambassador of the Omsk Region's Public Capital Standard.

"The webinar helped to delve into the topic of the Standard of Social capital. The status of an ambassador will allow the Agency to actively participate in the implementation of the Strategy for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the Omsk Region until 2030, more effectively implement the principles of the Standard, contribute to the development of an ecosystem supporting social initiatives and projects in the region, and improve the skills of Agency employees and enterprises interested in sustainable development and corporate practices. Of course, this cooperation opens up additional opportunities for the development of the Omsk region and strengthening its investment attractiveness," Svetlana Bazhenova noted.
