The Russian-Chinese forum "Made in China-2025" has started in Omsk. Over the course of two days, products and developments from about 20 companies from the People's Republic of China will be presented at its venues.
The program includes round tables, discussions on topical issues of cooperation and growth prospects, as well as B2B negotiations to establish business ties. A presentation of the investment potential of the Omsk region for representatives of Chinese business will take place. An exhibition has been organized to showcase innovations and technological achievements of the Chinese industry.
As a result of the event, it is planned to consider the possibility of creating permanent demonstration pavilions for Omsk producers in the Chinese city of Shenyang. In response, the Omsk Region is ready to provide similar sites for enterprises in Liaoning Province.
The Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko, stressed that the forum opens up prospects for expanding business ties and implementing joint projects.:
"I am confident that the Made in China 2025 forum will contribute to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Omsk Region and Chinese partners. We are interested in increasing trade, exchanging technologies and opening new markets for our manufacturers."
The first joint Russian-Chinese Forum is part of the strategy for the development of foreign economic relations in the Omsk Region. The event is organized with the support of the regional Government and is designed to strengthen partnerships with one of Russia's key economic partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
