The meeting participants assessed the progress of the implementation of previously presented and supported investment initiatives and new strategies of the companies.
In particular, an investment project was considered for the construction of a distribution center for the Magnit retail chain and equipping it with modern warehouse equipment for food and non-food products. It provides for the creation of all necessary infrastructure for the safe operation of premises that allow the storage of goods in compliance with various temperature conditions.
Design work is currently underway and the site is being prepared for subsequent construction. The total area of the distribution center's buildings and facilities will be 44,000 square meters, including 41,000 square meters of storage space. The deadline for the implementation of the investment project is until the end of 2025.
The site of the distribution center of one of the leading Russian retail chains has been identified as the territory in the area of the southern bypass of Omsk. The investment capacity of the large-scale project is estimated at 3 billion rubles.
Its implementation will contribute to the development of the logistics potential of the region, reducing the transport burden of goods delivery, reducing the cost of goods, as well as expanding cooperation with local manufacturers. Governor Vitaly Khotsenko noted the social significance of the investment project: due to its implementation, it will be possible to create an additional 700 new jobs.
In addition, the possibility of providing land plots for the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a greenhouse complex LLC Omsky Greenhouse Complex was considered.
The agro-industrial holding ECO-Culture plans to build a high-tech greenhouse complex for growing tomatoes in the closed ground in the Omsk region. The volume of investments in the project is estimated at 9.6 billion rubles. Agreements on the company's investment intentions were reached on the sidelines of SPIEF 2023 during a meeting between Vitaly Khotsenko and the leadership of the country's largest agricultural holding. The investor has been offered a site in the Tavrichesky district to implement the project.
Earlier, the Governor had already announced plans to create two new greenhouse complexes and a production complex for growing green crops in the Omsk region. Within the framework of two greenhouse projects, it is planned to grow cucumbers and tomatoes in the amount of 27 thousand tons per year. This will create 650 new jobs.
It should be noted that investment projects are being supported by specialists from the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency. We are actively working with investors on the "one-stop shop" principle.
