The Governor delivers an annual address to the deputies of the regional parliament on the socio-economic situation of the Omsk region.
Large-scale implementation of new national projects should become the basis for the long-term development of the Omsk region, Vitaly Khotsenko said.
"President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has set national development goals for Russia until 2036. New national projects will be launched in 2025. They will determine the country's development mechanisms for the next 12 years. Our task is to enter into the implementation of all national projects by increasing the volume of federal support. The country's leadership makes it clear that the regions with the most developed and reasonable applications will become participants in national projects. And they should be exactly like this for us," Vitaliy Khotsenko outlined in the report the instructions to the authorities.
Increasing the volume of investments is one of the priorities that we will work on.
"In the first half of this year, investments increased by 3.7 percent. And this is just the beginning, our task is to dramatically increase investment activity in the region. This year, through the Investment Committee, we have implemented and launched 30 new investment projects worth more than 800 billion rubles. They will provide the region with more than 8,000 new jobs," said the Governor of the Omsk Region.
Vitaly Khotsenko sets the task for the authorities to form at least 3 projects for each industry to participate in the federal selection for the provision of a new support measure, which is being introduced on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is the cancellation of two thirds of the regions' debt on budget loans. The support mechanism will help create the necessary infrastructure for investment projects and reduce the state debt of the regional budget.
