Vitaly Khotsenko visited the exhibition of the XXII Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan
The exhibition unfolded on the site of the multimodal park "Russia is My Story" and reflects the potential of the Omsk region as one of the leading industrial, transport, logistics and investment centers in Siberia.
Together with Governor Vitaly Khotsenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Dauren Abayev, Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Padalko, honored guests and participants of the Forum took part in the opening of the exhibition.
The exhibition presents the largest enterprises in the region, modern production developments, promising infrastructure projects and initiatives that determine the development of the transport complex.
The exhibition route unites 14 thematic venues. Visitors get acquainted with the possibilities of the Omsk River Port, the Omsk – Fedorovka airport construction project, the progress of the Omsk Northern Bypass, developments in the field of railway infrastructure, petrochemicals, instrumentation, polymer production and digital technologies.
A significant part of the exhibition is presented in an interactive format: enterprises demonstrate samples of their products, modern equipment and technological solutions, and large-scale infrastructure projects are represented by mock-ups, multimedia presentations and information stands.
Special attention is paid to the prospects for the development of transport infrastructure in Russia and Kazakhstan. A separate stand of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation introduces the Forum participants to key indicators of the development of river, aviation and railway communications, and the expositions of Omsk enterprises demonstrate the region's readiness to implement major joint projects and expand logistics capabilities.
The exhibition became the starting point of a rich business program of the XXII Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, which included round tables on logistics, ecology and industrial cooperation, a meeting of the Russian-Kazakh Business Council, a youth forum and an exchange of business contacts. Omsk Region once again confirms its status as a region where new directions of Russian-Kazakh cooperation are being formed and decisions are being made that are important for the development of the economies of the two states.
