Vitaly Khotsenko noted the active investment activity of Omsk enterprises

The Governor of the Omsk Region awarded nine companies with special diplomas for their contribution to the development of the region's economy.  

 

Vitaliy Khotsenko noted the productivity and growth of investment activity of business structures at a meeting of the Council for Investment and Competition Development. The Ministry of Economic Development of the region assessed the activities of Omsk enterprises and organizations for the year. The evaluation criteria include the volume of investments, the stages of implementation of investment projects and their importance for the development strategy of the Omsk region, tax deductions to the consolidated budget, an increase in the number of employees at the enterprise and their salary level.  

 

"Investment activity contributes to job creation, improvement of living standards in the region, development of infrastructure and social sphere. Thank you for your hard work and faith in the success of our common cause.  I wish you to successfully implement all your projects and continue moving forward to new heights," said Vitaliy Khotsenko.

 

A certificate of honor from the Government of the Omsk Region for active charitable activities and assistance in flood relief in the Ust-Ishim district was awarded to the RUSKOM Management Company.

 

The Council for Investment and Competition Development also appreciated the efforts of the authorities to create a favorable investment climate and attract investment in every sector of the economy.  In the National Rating of the investment Climate, the Omsk Region ranks 18th among all regions of the country. Governor Vitaly Khotsenko sets the task to improve his position and enter the top 10.

  

"We are currently conducting large-scale work in the region to attract investors who are willing to invest in the development of the Omsk region. I am convinced that the growing investment attractiveness of our region directly affects the improvement of the quality of life of residents of Omsk. And we will continue this work," said Vitaliy Khotsenko.
