Vitaly Khotsenko: Industrial production accounts for about a quarter of the Omsk region's GRP
In his annual message to the regional parliament, the Governor thanked Omsk industrialists for their contribution to the development of the region and noted the factory dynasties.
"In the federal rating of the effectiveness of industrial policy implementation, the Omsk region has entered the TOP 10. I instruct the regional Ministry of Industry to improve this result. Last year, industrial production showed an increase of more than 6 percent. We are maintaining a positive trend this year," said Vitaliy Khotsenko.
The Federal Fund for Industrial Development has financed 5 Omsk projects this year for a total loan amount of more than 1 billion rubles. Regional FRPs have provided preferential loans to enterprises for 147.5 million rubles. The Fund's work is in demand, Vitaly Khotsenko noted, so the authorities are looking for opportunities to recapitalize it.
The governor considers the preservation of the tradition of family labor dynasties and the loyalty of many generations of factory workers to their enterprises to be a special indicator of the stability of the industrial complex.
"I would like to thank our industrialists, who form about a quarter of the GRP through their activities. I would like to express my special gratitude to the Berezin dynasty, who work at the Omsk Scientific Research Institute of Instrument Engineering for a total of more than 3 centuries of experience of all representatives of the family. The Shumyachkin dynasty, several generations of which have been working at the Baranov plant for 262 years. The Shmelev dynasty, who devoted 110 years of work to High Technologies JSC. There are many such examples, and there should be as many similar dynasties as possible," said Vitaliy Khotsenko.
