Vitaly Khotsenko holds a meeting of the Omsk Region Investment Committee

At the first meeting of the new year, the results of the investment work over the past year were summed up and a new large-scale logistics project was supported.

In 2025, 30 investment projects with a total investment volume of over 240 billion rubles were considered. The implementation of these initiatives will create more than 4,500 new jobs.

For the placement of new facilities, investors have been provided with 11 land plots with a total area of more than 230 hectares. Among the supported initiatives is the construction of a three—storey kindergarten with 310 places on Udachnaya Street. The preschool with an area of 7,000 square meters will be built at the expense of the investor and donated to municipal ownership.

The Investment Committee, led by the Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko, paid special attention to project support and resolving issues that investors have at the implementation stage. Practical solutions have been found for a number of initiatives, including the development of access infrastructure, assistance in attracting federal funding and the provision of additional land. Governor Vitaliy Khotsenko emphasized the importance of a one-stop-shop investment project support system. It is a working tool that helps investors to quickly go through the procedures related to obtaining land and implementing projects. The mechanism is already working effectively, and it needs to be consistently developed.

A new project, the construction of the Karbyshevo Container Terminal transport and logistics complex, was also supported at the meeting. The investor, Investment Financial Group LLC, plans to invest more than 200 million rubles in the implementation. The project provides for the creation of a terminal with a full range of container cargo handling services, as well as the construction of a railway section at the expense of the investor. The terminal will be integrated into international container routes, including destinations to China, which will redistribute cargo flows to rail transport, increase the export potential of the Omsk region and create new jobs.
