Vitaly Khotsenko announced the investor's plans to build an urban surfing center in Omsk.

The head of the region set the task to accompany this project to the investment committee.

According to Vitaly Khotsenko, a Moscow investor has taken the initiative to build an urban surfing center in Omsk.

"The idea is interesting, and I am sure that Omsk residents and guests of our region will appreciate the project. According to the plan, the center will be able to accommodate up to 70,000 people per year. Investments in the project are estimated at 450 million rubles, more than 50 new jobs with decent wages will be created," the governor wrote in his telegram channel.

Recall that the governor held the first meeting of the Omsk Region Investment Committee in January. It was decided to make changes to the regulatory framework to improve the investment climate in the region. We are talking about adjusting approaches to the provision of state support measures for the implementation of investment projects. They were developed by specialists on behalf of the head of the region.

The new format provides for consideration of investment initiatives at a meeting of the investment committee to determine a set of measures to support and successfully launch the project. Following the decisions of the investment committee, separate investment agreements will be concluded between the regional government and investors. This made it possible to make the procedures more transparent and take into account the best practices in our country. Now, by contacting the Omsk Region Investment Committee, a company ready to invest money in the development of the region's territory will receive a comprehensive review of the project with the definition of government support measures available to it, including the provision of land without bidding or tax incentives.
