Vitaliy Khotsenko announced plans to create two greenhouse complexes and a production complex for growing green crops in the region.

Investment platforms have been selected for the implementation of these projects.

The investment initiatives were reviewed and approved at a meeting of the Investment Committee led by Governor Vitaly Khotsenko.

"It is planned to create two greenhouse complexes in Omsk and Tavrichesky districts. Investors are ready to invest about 10 billion rubles in each project. This will create about 650 new jobs," said Governor Vitaliy Khotsenko.

Within the framework of two projects, it is planned to grow cucumbers and tomatoes in the amount of at least 27 thousand tons per year.

"Another investment initiative is the construction of a production complex in Omsk for growing greens and lettuce on multi-tiered shelves indoors. The volume of investments in this project is estimated at 600 million rubles. 35 jobs will be created," the head of the region said.

The initiative has also been approved, and the investor has been offered sites for hosting a lettuce cultivation complex.
