The governor also noted a characteristic feature: businesses invest in the region mainly with their own funds, rather than borrowed funds.
According to Omskstat, in the first nine months of this year, enterprises invested more than 140 billion rubles in the region's economy and social sphere. Large and medium-sized companies have invested more than 109 billion rubles in the economy. Of these, 74% are the company's own funds, 26% are attracted financing.
The head of the region commented on the preliminary results of investment activity.
"Business invests in the Omsk region mainly with its own funds, they account for more than 70% of the total investment volume. In total, enterprises and organizations have invested 143.2 billion rubles in the regional economy and social sphere. This is 7.3 billion rubles more than a year earlier," said Vitaly Khotsenko, Governor of the Omsk Region.
