From June 1 to July 7, 2017, Vnesheconombank conducts an open selection of candidates for the positions of VEB certified managers in 62 regions of Russia.
The requirements for candidates and detailed information about the participating regions are posted on the LEADER-ID platform. The Agency for Strategic Initiatives, designed to find, develop and promote leaders.
The specialists who have successfully passed the selection process will search for and evaluate investment projects in the regions. Their activities will become an integral part of the bank's new model of working with regions.
Alexey Ivanchenko, Deputy Chairman of VEB and member of the Management Board, notes that VEB aims to proactively support advanced development projects in areas where Russia can be a world leader. "To do this, we are creating a network of our certified managers in the regions who will search for potential investment projects for VEB in accordance with our requirements and priorities," he stressed.
"The work on creating a network of certified managers will contribute to increasing the availability of long-term credit resources and, accordingly, will have a positive impact on the investment climate of the country as a whole," comments Svetlana Chupsheva, ASI CEO.
Recall that on May 26, applications were accepted from 23 regions that were included in the VEB's pilot manager search program. The bank's experts are currently reviewing more than 180 questionnaires and conducting interviews with candidates. The best of them will be trained and certified by Vnesheconombank, after which they will start working.
