The educational program of the Russian Export Center produces a series of training manuals for novice exporters.
The first textbook of the REC Educational Program was released at the end of 2016, marking the beginning of a series of educational materials for beginners and existing Russian exporters. The special feature of the manual, which was developed by leading experts from various fields of business, economics and the educational community, is the structure and relevance of the material, which also contains links to useful sources to find the necessary information at a certain stage of the export project.
"Since the publication of the first textbook "Introduction to export: the life cycle of an export project. State support for export-oriented enterprises" on the portal www.exportedu.ru It has been downloaded by more than 4,000 users," comments Alice Nikitina, Head of the REC Educational Program. – This once again indicates the demand from representatives of SMEs for high-quality professional knowledge in the field of foreign economic activity. We plan to produce textbooks for each course of the Program, and we really hope that they will become reference books for Russian exporters."
The first textbook introduces readers to the tools of primary analysis of foreign markets, search and evaluation of potential buyers, the specifics of preparing enterprises and goods for export and organizing foreign exchange payments, the risks of export activities and methods of minimizing them, as well as the tools of state support for Russian exporters.
In addition, the REC's Educational Program has become part of the Russian Export Center's unique publication, RECBOOK. The ten chapters of the book contain up-to-date information about our country's foreign economic activity, strategic directions for the development of Russian exports, insurance, credit, warranty and non-financial products of the REC Group. RECBOOK has evolved from a desktop book for REC Group employees to an encyclopedia on exports, which will be of interest to anyone who wants to understand export trends. The educational project of the Russian Export Center in the Omsk region is being implemented by the Export Support Center operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency. A corresponding quadripartite agreement was signed this year at the Sochi Investment Forum between the Russian Export Center, the REC Export School, the operator of the Program, the Government of the Omsk Region, and the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, JSC, the regional operator of the Program.
