A graduate of the regional Business incubator, the scientific and production company Industrial Geodetic Systems, has reached the final of an international competition.
Industrial Geodetic Systems is engaged in high-precision satellite positioning. The company develops equipment and software for the ground infrastructure of satellite navigation systems, one of which is the Glonass system.
"We decided to participate in the competition, as we aim to enter foreign markets, and our product is interesting in these markets. We hope that the competition will provide us with the necessary financial and non-financial resources," said Sergey Sorokin, head of the company. For example, the FiftyFounders competition will be held at the TechChill startup forum in Riga, where 50 projects will compete for the attention of investors and the main prize of 10 thousand euros.
The partners of the competition are the leading European accelerator StartupWiseGuys, which will evaluate the participants, and the Skolkovo Technopark. The TechChill forum is scheduled for February 8th and 9th. About 2,000 participants and 100 speakers are expected. A congress part is planned within the framework of the forum, during which participants will discuss the prospects of the industry, talk about existing technical communities, the role of investors and mentors in the life of startups, differences in technological ecosystems, and more.
