The AgroOmsk-2017 exhibition and fair was attended by over 1,100 agroindustrial specialists and about 180,000 residents and guests of Omsk.

During the exhibition, more than 100 contracts worth more than 350 million rubles were signed.

On July 23, the closing ceremony of the 15th agro-industrial exhibition AgroOmsk-2017 took place in the park On Korolev.

Nikolay Drofa, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region, thanked all the participants and wished them further success in the development of agriculture in the region. – "Today we are completing the 15th anniversary exhibition AgroOmsk-2017. A lot of work was done by those who participated in the organization and holding of this large-scale event. More than 1,100 specialists and managers of the agro-industrial complex visited the exhibition and visited the fields of Sibniishoz, FSUE Omskoye and where seminars on vegetable and potato growing were held. At a meeting on animal husbandry led by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Khatuov, our exhibition was highly appreciated. Every day was full of events."

Representatives of 13 regions of Russia attended the opening of the exhibition.: Moscow, the Republic of Altai, Buryatia, Khakassia, Tyva, Altai, Zabaikalsky and Krasnoyarsk Territories, Irkutsk Region, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Tyumen regions, as well as China and Kazakhstan. During the exhibition, 5 meetings were held: seminars on field farming, vegetable and potato growing, information support for breeding livestock, technology for growing winter crops in the Omsk region. The days of the farmer, workers of the food and processing industry also passed.  Within the framework of the exhibition, a large interregional meeting on the development of the livestock industry was held under the chairmanship of First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Khatuov, which was attended by about 300 specialists from 12 regions of the Siberian Federal District.

It should be noted that following the results of the AgroOmsk-2017 exhibition and fair, more than 100 contracts were signed for the supply of Russian and foreign-made machinery in the amount of over 350 million rubles, including 52 contracts for Omsk-made machinery and equipment in the amount of 150 million rubles. Contracts have been signed for the supply of tillage and sowing machinery, grain cleaning machines, sprayers and livestock equipment. In 2016, 92 contracts worth 300 million rubles were signed, including 46 contracts for Omsk-made machinery and equipment worth 144 million rubles.

The AgroOmsk-2017 exhibition and fair brought together about 180,000 Omsk residents and guests of our city, who were able to get acquainted with the latest Russian and foreign-made machinery, scientific developments in seed breeding, and see farm animals and birds: cows, sheep, goats, horses, nutria, roosters, turkeys, chickens, and chickens. and even an African sheep with a reindeer.

The best 50 enterprises and organizations of the agro-industrial complex were awarded diplomas from the Government of the Omsk Region and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Among them: Omsk OmGAU, Siberian Research Institute, Omsk Rosselkhoznadzor Reference Center, professional community of beekeepers of the Omsk region, LLC TPK "Agroculture", LLC VNIMI-Siberia, JSC Omsk Dairy and Canning Plant, JSC Omsk Bacon, poultry farm Lyubinskaya, LLC Avtospetsmash, JSC "Base Agrocomplete", trading house "Babylon" and others.

The anniversary exhibition-fair AgroOmsk-2017 will be remembered by farmers, Omsk residents and guests of the city of Omsk for a long time with its scale, caloric content and significance. The organizers hope that next year AgroOmsk will bring together even more representatives from the regions of Russia, as well as guests from near and far abroad, to exchange experiences and get acquainted with new agricultural machinery and livestock equipment for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region.
