Japanese specialists will present advanced technologies in the fields of industry and energy in Omsk

A training seminar on the application of innovative developments will be held today in the regional Congress Hall.

The seminar, organized with the support of the Omsk Region Government, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and the Japan Association for Trade with Russia and Newly Independent States ROTOBO, will be attended by representatives of major Japanese companies and associations. The lecturers will present advanced technologies in the energy, chemical, oil refining, food, energy-saving and environmental industries.

Experts from the regional Ministry of Economy call Japan one of the strategic partners in the Asian direction. Last year, the mutual trade turnover amounted to over $ 22 million.. The main volume of exports of the Omsk region to Japan in 2016 was aluminum and products made from it (93.7% of the total exports of the Omsk region to Japan in 2016). Omsk residents most often buy boilers, equipment, mechanical devices and their parts in the "land of the rising sun" (34.7% of all imports to the Omsk region from Japan in 2016), optical and photographic instruments and devices (28.9%), land transport equipment, their parts and accessories (19.4%).

The upcoming seminar will allow you to learn more about the technical innovations and advanced technologies of leading Japanese enterprises, such as: Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.; Mayekawa Manufacturing Company, Ltd.; Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation; Beatrix; The Japan Petroleum Energy Center (JPEC); The Japan Environmental Management Association for Industry (JEMAI).
