Omsk Region can attract more than 5 billion rubles by participating in federal programs.

The regional Government forms applications for state support within the framework of federal programs.

In 2017, the budgets of the constituent entities can count on federal subsidies provided for under government programs of the Russian Federation.

Omsk Region plans to receive 41 subsidies from the federal budget in 2017, which, according to preliminary estimates, will attract more than 5 billion rubles to the regional budget.

In case of successful completion of the competitions, the Omsk region will receive federal funds for the modernization of rural cultural institutions, the development of primary health care, medical care for citizens, and so on.

To date, in accordance with the approved allocation of federal budget funds for 2017, about 2 billion rubles have been allocated to the regional budget for 19 federal program activities, including housing for certain categories of citizens under the Housing target program, rural areas, subsidies to farms and support for youth entrepreneurship, land reclamation agricultural lands, the development of agro-industrial, water management complexes, transport infrastructure and many other activities.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the Omsk Region is additionally considering the possibility of participating in several more federal program events, clarifying the conditions for granting subsidies and the possibility of complying with them, including in terms of providing additional funding from the regional budget.
