An agreement has been signed on the creation of a petrochemical industrial cluster in the Omsk region
The interaction of government authorities and petrochemical enterprises in the cluster will make it possible to use state support mechanisms for the implementation of promising investment projects.
Yesterday, the Governor of the Omsk Region, Viktor Nazarov, signed an agreement with the industry Association on the creation of a Petrochemical industrial cluster in the Omsk region. The Association, which includes the region's leading petrochemical enterprises and auxiliary industries, as well as specialized educational institutions, was established in July. 2016 a year to provide methodological, organizational, expert-analytical and informational support for the development of this cluster.
The cluster is being created in accordance with the region's Socio-economic Development Strategy. 2025 approved by the Governor of the Omsk Region, in order to increase the competitiveness and quality of products, labor productivity and create new jobs at enterprises and organizations that are part of the cluster.
Over the past two years, a number of regulatory documents have been adopted at the federal level, which put forward new requirements for regulating relations, the structure and sustainability of cooperation within the cluster. The conclusion of an agreement between the Government of the Omsk Region and the Association for the Promotion of the Petrochemical Industrial Cluster will make it possible to use state support mechanisms for the implementation of sectoral investment projects.
The package of documents of the Petrochemical Industrial Cluster of the Omsk region has been sent for consideration to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, followed by inclusion in the official register of clusters. After passing this procedure, the company – cluster members will have the opportunity to apply for federal financial support for the implementation of promising investment projects.
All petrochemical enterprises are interested in creating a petrochemical cluster, which will be able to apply for state support measures from the federal budget for the preparation, licensing and certification of activities, products, services, purchase of technological equipment and equipment, development of software modules and technical documentation, etc.
