Welcoming the participants of the international conference, Governor of the Omsk RegionViktor Nazarov noted that export development is one of the most important directions of Russian economic policy today.
"Exporters are the most advanced and active organizations that are able to compete not only with colleagues within the country, but also with foreign companies. As practice shows, they are more stable in development, pay serious taxes and constantly improve their products," said the head of the region. At the same time, Viktor Nazarov noted, the Omsk region is an illustrative example of a non-resource development model. "The Omsk economy is a diversified, developing complex, the largest area of which is industry. In this regard, the structure of regional exports is diverse. Having no natural hydrocarbon reserves, our region is an illustrative example of a non-resource development model. More than 75% of exports are industrial products with high added value," he stressedVictor Nazarov.
Today, December 8, at the plenary session of the IV International Conference "Foreign Economic Activity as a factor of effective development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the subjects of the Russian Federation"Oleg Fomichev andViktor Nazarov was awarded cash prizes and commemorative awards to the best exporters of the region in 2015.
The annual competition for the title of "Best Exporter" was traditionally held by the regional Agency for Development and Investment with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region.
This year, 14 companies exporting products to the countries of the Customs Union and the CIS, as well as countries of the far and near abroad, became participants in the competition. To evaluate the contestants, the organizers have developed a special methodology that includes a set of several criteria, including the total volume of exports, the geography of exports, the number of export shipments, participation in international exhibition events and the availability of certificates of product quality of international standards. Applications for participation were accepted from September 1 to November 7, 2016.
In the nomination "Export of food and (or) agricultural products", the company "TD Sibirsky" was recognized as the winner. The title of the laureate and the 2nd place in this nomination is occupied by the Rus-Agro company. Sibsnack was recognized as the winner of the third place in this nomination.
Vneshtorgresurs company won in the nomination "Export of chemical and (or) mineral products". The company won the title of the laureate and the second place in this nomination. "Promsmazki trading house. The CentrOil Trading House was recognized as the winner of the third place in this nomination.
Sergey Marichev, an individual entrepreneur, was recognized as the winner in the "Export of industrial products" nomination for the fifth time. The title of the laureate and the 2nd place in this nomination is taken by the Magic Crystal company, and the third – by TC Electrical Engineering and Automation.
Viktor Syromyatnikov, an individual entrepreneur, became the winner in the "Export of diversified products" nomination. The 2nd place in this nomination is occupied by the Ribbis company, and the third by the Big House of Wood.
The winners and laureates of the competition in each nomination also received the right to use the title "The Best Exporter of the Omsk region in 2015".
The conference on foreign economic activity brought together a record number of representatives from Russian regions and foreign countries. Delegates from 60 regions of the Russian Federation and 14 countries gathered in the Omsk region to discuss issues relevant to business. A serious conversation took place about mechanisms for improving the climate for export-oriented entrepreneurship in Russia.
